Next to Restaurant Gestrand at Camping de Lakens, a brand-new activity awaits you: Dunegolf. This surprising combination of traditional mini-golf and active game elements creates a unique experience. You hit your ball in a beautiful setting of sand and marram grass, right behind the waterline, where the challenging holes are fully integrated into the surrounding nature reserve.
The course features twelve exciting mini-golf holes and four special agility challenges. Think of clever passages and natural barriers, but also active game elements such as a wooden balance beam and a challenging maze.
Dunegolf can be booked starting March 28, 2026, via your 'Mijn de Lakens' account or during opening hours via Gestrand. You are welcome to play a round every day of the week between 09:00 and 21:00.
Children's party
Heading into the dunes with friends for a round of golf is, of course, a fantastic birthday outing for kids. You can book a complete package starting from €17.50 per person. This includes access to the course, the use of clubs and balls, and a tasty portion of fries with a snack at Restaurant Gestrand.

But Dunegolf isn't just for children; the activity is also challenging and hilarious with family or a group of friends. Start with coffee and a treat and end the day with well-deserved, catered drinks or dinner on our sunny terrace. A fun, sporty day is guaranteed!
